The United Dragons will be holding its annual festival and NDBF cup races in the historic city of Alkmaar on June 2 & June 3, 2012. While the race is a cozy, small-scale event, it is run in accordance with IDBF rules as far as is practical, and draws the best Dutch dragon boat racing teams to compete. International teams are welcome to join us for the races. Corporate/novice teams may register for the 2 June race, which will take place over a race distance of 200 meter. Experienced racing teams are welcome to compete on 3 June, alongside Dutch teams competing in the NDBF Cup Series event. The 3 June race will be concluded with a long-distance race of roughly 2 kilometers through the canals and waterways surrounding the city of Alkmaar. It's not possible yet to register.
